A ABES esteve presente, nesta terça-feira, dia 12 de abril, na solenidade de abertura da Pollutec Brasil, que tem a entidade como uma de suas parceiras. O presidente nacional da ABES, Dante Ragazzi Pauli, integrou a cerimônia, juntamente com o vice-presidente da Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado (realizadora da feira), Paulo Octávio Pereira de Almeida, o secretário nacional de saneamento ambiental do Ministério da Cidades, Paulo Ferreira, representando o ministro das Cidades, Gilberto Kassab, e a diretora da Pollutec França, Sylvie Fourn. Há mais de 40 anos a Pollutec acontece na França reunindo as principais novidades em tecnologias ligadas ao saneamento ambiental e à otimização de recursos. Esta é a primeira edição no Brasil e a ABES é parceira oficial do evento.
Dante destacou o empenho de diversos profissionais da ABES para construir a parceria com a Pollutec e o orgulho da entidade em ser uma das parceiras. “Foi uma parceria construída com muito diálogo, muita cooperação. Temos muito orgulho em saber que a ABES é parceira oficial de uma das maiores feitas de meio ambiente do mundo. Como presidente da ABES, aprendi que esse mundo das feiras é extremamente dinâmico e no Brasil está efervescente. Apesar da crise, a feira está sendo realizada com sucesso, assim como foi o 28º Congresso Brasileiro de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental, promovido pela ABES em 2015. Tenho certeza de que a Pollutec crescerá muito no Brasil, pois tem uma abordagem diferente. Agradeço a confiança de vocês e a confiança que os associados da ABES depositaram na parceria. A Pollutec tem na ABES um grande parceiro, para esta e as próximas edições.”
Paulo Octávio destacou que, mesmo diante de um quadro macroeconômico adverso, o mercado do país de soluções ambientais representa um potencial muito grande para investimentos em pesquisa e inovação. “Existe uma série de legislações que regulamentam as atividades ambientais. O cumprimento de metas ligadas à universalização da água e à erradicação dos lixões exigem vultosos investimentos anuais”, analisa o vice-presidente da Reed, enfatizando que muitas empresas estrangeiras têm ciência da dimensão das oportunidades existentes aqui. “Cerca de 35% das marcas presentes na Pollutec são internacionais e nunca estiveram antes no Brasil.”
Em sua fala, o secretário do Ministério das Cidades destacou que o avanço do setor está atrelado ao aperfeiçoamento tecnológico das empresas de saneamento ambiental que atuam aqui. “A transferência de todas as tecnologias ambientais expostas na Pollutec vão propiciar as condições para a melhora dos nossos serviços.”
A Pollutec fica aberta no Pavilhão de Exposições do Anhembi até sexta-feira, oferecendo uma vitrine com o que mais avançado existe em tecnologias e soluções ambientais que abrangem todos os serviços – tratamento de água e efluentes para usuário final e indústria, gestão de resíduos (reciclagem, logística reversa, compostagem, biomassa e biogás), eficiência energética, remediação de solo, tratamento e monitoramento do ar.
Mais de 90 empresas estão presentes, entre líderes do setor (Sabesp, Suez, Ambiensys, Mizumo, Veolia, Dow, Solví, Estre, Cetesb, Thermo Fisher) e empresas de países como Reino Unido, França, Bélgica, Holanda, Áustria, Austrália, China e Itália, em um intercâmbio tecnológico que vai expandir o repertório de soluções em desenvolvimento sustentável encontrado aqui.
