Seminário Internacional de Mudanças Climáticas discutirá resultados da COP26 e impactos no Brasil. Confira a programação

Evento, que será realizado online na próxima semana (segunda (6) e terça (7), conta com especialistas como Filipe Duarte Santos, presidente do CNADS (Portugal); Thelma Krug, vice-presidente do IPCC; e Carlos Nobre, pesquisador sênior do IEA-USP e presidente do Painel Brasileiro de Mudanças Climáticas. A ABES – Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental vai realizar o Seminário Internacional de Mudanças Climáticas nos dias 06 e 07 de dezembro. Confira a programação completa abaixo.

O evento discutirá, na esteira da realização da COP26 (em novembro, na Escócia), as resoluções da conferência internacional e os impactos das alterações climáticas em todo o planeta, apresentando dados e ideias de modo preciso, transparente e qualificado e contribuindo com o avanço das discussões e soluções para esse cenário climático tão desafiador.

O seminário reunirá especialistas e organizações do Brasil e de outros países em torno de aspectos relevantes das mudanças climáticas, abordando temas como impactos setoriais, efeitos sociais e econômicos, estratégias de enfrentamento e soluções. Os participantes também vão abordar eventos extremos no mundo e no Brasil, além de falar sobre crise hídrica. 

Entre os palestrantes confirmados estão Filipe Duarte Santos, presidente do CNADS – Conselho Nacional do Ambiente e do Desenvolvimento Sustentável de Portugal; Thelma Krug, vice-presidente do IPCC – Painel Intergovernamental Sobre Mudanças Climáticas; Carlos Nobre, pesquisador sênior do Instituto de Estudos Avançados da USP e presidente do Painel Brasileiro de Mudanças Climáticas; José Marengo, climatologista, meteorologista e coordenador-geral de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento do Centro Nacional de Monitoramento e Alertas de Desastres Naturais do Cemaden – Centro Nacional de Monitoramento e Alertas de Desastres Naturais; Ricardo Daruiz Borsari, diretor Metropolitano da Sabesp; O consultor Jerson Kelman, Miguel Ivan Lacerda de Oliveira, diretor do Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia, e Josilene Ferrer, assessora da Presidência da CETESB – Companhia Ambiental do Estado de São Paulo. 

Participam também Miguel Ivan Lacerda de Oliveira, diretor do INMET – Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia; Marcella Ungaretti, head da LatAm Business Development da XP Investimentos; e Sérgio Barroso, do CEDRU – Centro de Estudos e Desenvolvimento Regional e Urbano. 

O seminário é uma realização das Câmaras Temáticas da ABES de Meio Ambiente e de Gestão Recursos Hídricos e das Câmaras Técnicas da ABES Seção São Paulo de Meio Ambiente e Mudanças Climáticas e de Recursos Hídricos.

Este é um evento neutro, para reduzir o impacto no meio ambiente. A neutralização de carbono é feita através do apoio a projetos ambientais brasileiros certificados e auditados de forma transparente e rastreável.
