Encontro com duas vencedoras das últimas edições do Prêmio Jovem da Água de Estocolmo encerrou série de webinares com o tema ‘Jornada Saneamento e Meio Ambiente: O que queremos para o Futuro?’
O terceiro e último webinar da série “Jornada Saneamento e Meio Ambiente: O que queremos para o Futuro?” foi realizado nesta segunda-feira, 09 de outubro, com o tema “Jovem! Onde a pesquisa pode te levar?”. O debate integra a programação especial da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção Rio Grande do Sul (ABES-RS) para a 30ª edição da Semana da Água do estado.
A série de webinares contou com patrocínio da Corsan (Companhia Riograndense de Saneamento) e apoio a Condor, Quinta da Estância, Agesan (Ambiental, Geotecnia e Saneamentoental, Geotecnia e Saneamento) e Senge-RS (Sindicato dos Engenheiros no Estado do Rio Grande do Sul).
O objetivo do último encontro foi trazer exemplos que ressaltam a importância da pesquisa na carreira dos jovens. Para falar sobre o tema, a moderadora e debatedora convidada foi Flávia Twardowski, Diretora do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS) – Campus Osório.
As convidadas foram Amanda Ribeiro, vencedora do Prêmio Jovem da Água de Estocolmo Brasil 2023; e Laura Nedel Drebes, premiada no Prêmio de Excelência Jovem da Água de Estocolmo, na Suécia e vencedora na edição brasileira do Prêmio Jovem da Água de Estocolmo, de 2022.
Na ocasião, as convidadas apresentaram as respectivas trajetórias profissionais, ressaltando como meninas, ainda na educação básica, deram os primeiros passos no caminho da pesquisa, resultando nos prêmios que vieram a receber como resultado do desenvolvimento destes estudos.
