Debate foi o segundo de uma série de três webinares com o tema ‘Jornada Saneamento e Meio Ambiente: O que queremos para o Futuro?’
O segundo webinar da série “Jornada Saneamento e Meio Ambiente: O que queremos para o Futuro?” foi realizado na quarta-feira, 04 de outubro, com o tema Mudanças Climáticas. O debate integra a programação especial da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção Rio Grande do Sul (ABES-RS) para a 30ª edição da Semana da Água.
A série de webinares contou com patrocínio da Corsan (Companhia Riograndense de Saneamento) e apoio a Condor, Quinta da Estância, Agesan (Ambiental, Geotecnia e Saneamentoental, Geotecnia e Saneamento) e Senge-RS (Sindicato dos Engenheiros no Estado do Rio Grande do Sul).
A série promoveu um bate-papo online com e para jovens, tratando dos quatro pilares do saneamento: abastecimento público, esgotamento sanitário, drenagem urbana e resíduos sólidos.
Para falar sobre o tema “Mudanças Climáticas”, a moderadora e debatedora convidada foi Sonia Zakrzevski, doutora em Ecologia e Recursos Naturais, Mestre em Educação.
O debate teve como convidados Rafael Damasceno Pereira, pesquisador no Centro Nacional de Monitoramento e Alertas de Desastres Naturais (CEMADEN), unidade de pesquisa do Ministério da Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovações (CEMADEN/MCTI); e Isabela Carmo Cavaco, bacharel em Gestão Ambiental na EACH/USP.
Participaram também Laura Fragoso Alves de Carvalho, estudante de Psicologia da Universidade Regional Integrada do Alto Uruguai e das Missões (URI), Erechim; Francieli Alves da Silva, estudante do Curso de em Enfermagem em Maximiliano de Almeida (RS); Isadora Luisa Bianchi, estudante do 3º ano do ensino médio na Escola de Educação Básica da URI Erechim; e Gentil Junior Siteneski, estudante do 3° Ano do Ensino Médio, Escola Estadual de Ensino Médio Dr. José Bisognin, em Severiano de Almeida (RS).
Na ocasião, os convidados apresentaram as definições de tempo e clima, além do contexto no qual as mudanças climáticas estão envolvidas. Em seguida, trouxeram algumas das iniciativas realizadas por jovens para sobre o tema, como ações de sensibilização e educação ambiental, a fim de contribuir para a redução dos efeitos destas mudanças, e pesquisas.
