Promovido pela ABES-RS, painel discutirá os impactos dos resíduos sólidos nas condições dos recursos hídricos

Evento online e gratuito acontecerá na próxima sexta-feira (11), às 10h, em celebração à Semana Mundial do Meio Ambiente.

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção Rio Grande do Sul (ABES-RS) promoverá o painel online “O impacto dos resíduos sólidos nas condições de recursos hídricos”, no próximo dia 11 de junho (sexta-feira), às 10h, por meio da plataforma do ABES Conecta. As inscrições são gratuitas e podem ser feitas AQUI. 

“O objetivo do encontro é transmitir conhecimento e troca de experiências relacionados à temática do painel. Hoje, a população gera muitos resíduos sólidos, que, muitas vezes, são lançados de modo indevido em lixões. Além disso, os resíduos geram um efluente líquido, denominado chorume, que acaba dirigindo-se aos recursos hídricos, podendo gerar problemas. Assim, discutiremos as melhoras práticas e técnicas para evitar isto”, explica Ricardo Röver, um dos organizadores do painel e coordenador da CT de Gestão e Controle de Perdas e Eficiência Energética da ABES-RS.

O encontro será realizado em celebração à Semana Mundial do Meio Ambiente e contará com a participação especial da engenheira química Alpha da Rosa Teixeira, uma das mais antigas sócias da ABES e integrante da fundação da entidade. “A doutora Alpha é uma pessoa de enorme conhecimento, com vasta experiência e uma lucidez preciosa aos seus 95 anos. Este webinar será também um registro histórico”, comenta Röver.

Além da engenheira Alpha, representante do Lions Clube Internacional, o painel será composto pelos especialistas Mário Saffer, diretor da Engebio Engenharia e Meio Ambiente e coordenador das Câmaras Técnicas da ABES-RS e Eduardo Fleck, mestre em Engenharia de Recursos Hídricos e Saneamento Ambiental e representante do Departamento Municipal de Limpeza Urbana (DMLU) de Porto Alegre. A moderação do debate será feita por Fabiana Figueiró, mestre em direito ambiental, associada da ABES e presidente da Associação Gaúcha dos Advogados de Direito Ambiental Empresarial (AGAAE).

A discussão integra os preparativos para a 28ª Semana Interamericana e 21ª Semana Estadual da Água, que acontecerá entre os dias 1º e 9 de outubro, promovido pela ABES-RS. Saiba mais detalhes AQUI.
