Nota de falecimento: Engº e Prof. Cícero Onofre de Andrade Neto

É com grande pesar que a ABES informa o falecimento nesta segunda-feira, 22 de maio, do Engº e Prof. Cícero Onofre de Andrade Neto, grande colaborador da Seção Rio Grande do Norte da entidade (ABES-RN).

Professor do Departamento de Eng. Civil da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte – UFRN e membro da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES, Cícero Onofre foi um profissional mais que reconhecido neste campo e, principalmente, na Área de Recursos Hídricos.

O Profº Cícero Onofre (quinto da dir. para a esq.) durante o Ciclo de Debates: Desafios do Saneamento Ambiental, realizado pela ABES no RN, em abril deste ano.

Aos 65 anos de idade, o engenheiro estava participando ativamente das discussões sobre o Reuso de Águas no RN junto à SEMARH, IGARN, CAERN e IDEMA, como também contribuindo para o desenvolvimento do Estado no âmbito da elaboração dos Planos Municipais de Saneamento pela UFRN e FUNASA.

Os corações dos Sanitaristas do Rio Grande do Norte, bem como da ABES, estão tristes e consternados com a partida precoce e repentina.
