CT Saneamento Rural da ABES marca presença em lançamento do Programa Saneamento Brasil Rural

A coordenadora da Câmara Temática de Saneamento Rural da ABES, Mônica Bicalho, esteve presente nesta terça, 3 de dezembro, em Brasília, no evento de lancamento do Programa Saneamento Brasil Rural pela Fundação Nacional de Saúde – Funasa.

O coordenador adjunto da Câmara, Helder Cortez, também participou do evento, que aconteceu no Palácio da Alvorada e contou com a presença do Presidente da República, Jair Bolsonaro.

O objetivo, segundo o Governo Federal, é investir R$ 218,94 bilhões, para atingir a meta de 40 milhões de pessoas beneficiadas em até 20 anos. Os recursos serão públicos e privados.

Na ocasião, o presidente da Funasa, Ronaldo Nogueira, informou que a implementação do programa depende de apresentação, pelos municípios, das propostas sobre o que precisa ser feito.

Nogueira afirmou, ainda, que a portaria do governo com todos os detalhes do programa será publicada nesta quarta-feira (4) no “Diário Oficial da União”.

Eixos do programa

De acordo com a Funasa, o programa será dividido em três eixos: Gestão dos Serviços; Educação e Participação Social; e Tecnologia, que vão prever:

  • Gestão dos Serviços: planejamento, regulação, fiscalização, prestação dos serviços e controle social.
  • Educação e Participação Social: medidas de sensibilização dos usuários sobre direitos e deveres, além da forma de alcançá-los. “Este eixo é responsável viabilizar apoio técnico e pedagógico qualificados aos operadores dos serviços e por proporcionarem a qualificação dos gestores técnicos e administrativos”, informou o governo;
  • Tecnologia: identificação das soluções para abastecimento de água; esgotamento sanitário; o manejo de resíduos sólidos; e manejo de águas pluviais.
