ABES-SP: diretora participa do 10º Seminário Internacional – Dia Mundial da Água Asec Cetesb

Roseane Garcia, que também coordena as Câmaras de Resíduos e de Saúde Ambiental da Associação, integrou a programação do 1º dia do evento realizado de forma híbrida até quinta (13).

Nesta terça-feira, 11 de abril, Roseane Garcia, diretora da ABES Seção São Paulo e coordenadora das Câmaras de Resíduos Sólidos e de Saúde Ambiental da entidade, participou do 10 º Seminário Internacional Dia Mundial da Água Asec Cetesb – Acelerando Mudanças. 

Promovido pela  ASEC-Cetesb (Associação dos Engenheiros e Especialistas da Cetesb e do Meio Ambiente), o evento rememora o Dia Mundial da Água (celebrado em 22 de março) e acontece até quinta-feira (13), no Auditório Augusto Ruschi, com transmissão pelo YouTube (assista aqui).

Na ocasião, a engenheira Roseane Garcia ministrou uma palestra sobre segurança da água e saúde. Ela ressaltou que o tema é extremamente relevante e que o governo, com as políticas públicas, e a sociedade civil podem atuar nesta área, trazendo inovação, engajamento e tecnologias para enfrentar a problemática, propiciando um ambiente mais saudável. 

Em sua apresentação, a diretora da ABES-SP destacou questões do saneamento urbano e rural, planos de segurança da água, legislação, monitoramento e indicadores do padrão de potabilidade, doenças relacionadas à água ou transmissão hídrica, investigação epidemiológica e perigos microbiológicos e químicos, entre outros. 

A engenheira reforçou que todos devem ter direito à água segura, que precisa estar dentro de um padrão potável a partir de cálculos e parâmetros que norteiem a captação e o tratamento para assegurar seu consumo. A especialista enfatizou que a água segura deve ter qualidade, não apresentar riscos significativos à saúde e que a população deve ter acesso a uma quantidade suficiente para atender seu uso pessoal e doméstico, com cobertura, continuidade e custo acessível. 

Roseane Garcia abordou também a nova Norma ABNT NBR 17080:2023, Plano de Segurança da Água — Princípios e diretrizes, queapresenta os requisitos para elaboração, implementação e avaliação de planos de segurança da água, que devem ser aplicados pelo setor de saneamento com o objetivo de assegurar o fornecimento de uma água segura e potável, por meio de avaliação e gestão de risco desde o manancial ou fonte até o ponto de consumo.  

O 10 º Seminário Internacional – Dia Mundial da Água ocorre até esta quinta-feira, 13 de abril, discutindo temas como segurança da água, crise hídrica, usos dos recursos hídricos, água de reúso, drenagem/ entupimentos, dessalinização e projetos de tratamento hídrico, entre outros.
