Com abordagem sobre o Produto 2 – Diagnóstico da Situação Atual, que visa garantir a salubridade ambiental de toda a população paulista, o PESB/SP foi debatido, nesta segunda (6), com participação de representantes da Secretaria de Infraestrutura e Meio Ambiente do Estado de São Paulo (SIMA/SP).
A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – Seção São Paulo (ABES-SP) promoveu nesta segunda-feira, 13 de junho, um webinar para apresentação do Plano Estadual de Saneamento Básico de São Paulo (PESB/SP), com abordagem sobre o Produto 2 – Diagnóstico da Situação Atual, que está em fase de consulta pública aberta para o recebimento das contribuições até o dia 26 de junho. O evento foi transmitido pelo canal da Seção no YouTube.
Na abertura do evento, Roseane M. Garcia Lopes de Souza, diretora da ABES-SP e coordenadora das Câmaras Técnicas de Saúde Ambiental e Resíduos Sólidos da Seção, que fez também a moderação, destacou que a SIMA/SP está promovendo a revisão do PESB/SP em vários produtos e a ABES-SP, em sua atuação para discutir o saneamento básico no estado, promoveu este webinar específico para detalhar o “Produto 2 – Diagnóstico da Situação Atual”.
Os convidados para debater o assunto foram os especialistas: Evaldo Azevedo, coordenador de Saneamento da Secretaria de Infraestrutura e Meio Ambiente do Estado de São Paulo – SIMA/SP; e Diogo Lessa, assessor técnico da Coordenadoria de Saneamento da SIMA/SP.
Evaldo Azevedo agradeceu ao convite para trazer as informações acerca do Produto 2 na plataforma da ABES, considerada uma das mais importantes do setor de saneamento em nível nacional, e, portanto, muito relevante para fazer a apresentação do PESB/SP, colocando a SIMA à disposição para outras oportunidades em que possam debater sobre essa iniciativa na associação. “É importante registrar que a criação desse produto, o Diagnóstico da Situação Atual, visa o próprio desenvolvimento do saneamento básico em São Paulo, que é uma das principais formas de proporcionar uma melhor qualidade de vida para as pessoas”, pontuou.
Segundo Azevedo, o diagnóstico atual da situação, dentro do PESB/SP, tem como principal objetivo registrar em que ponto está o saneamento básico nos municípios do estado de São Paulo, de que forma ele está sendo feito neste momento. “Uma vez diagnosticado, com base nos resultados elencados, vamos estabelecer o que devemos fazer para implantar e melhorar as ações para garantir a universalização do serviço de saneamento para todos. Esse trabalho é importante para que possamos conhecer as diversas infraestruturas implantadas nos municípios, quais são as condições operacionais dos diferentes sistemas de saneamento básico. Portanto, este trabalho é composto por um levantamento de dados em todos os 645 municípios paulistas”, detalhou.
O executivo observou que neste relatório, que está em consulta pública até dia 26/6 neste link, a SIMA consegue avaliar os pontos críticos indicados no âmbito do saneamento. “Procuramos qualificar e incentivar o que está sendo feito de positivo, verificar as deficiências e corrigi-las na medida do possível. Esse produto é de suma importância, pois é um documento de planejamento de gestão, que orienta as políticas públicas e que vai garantir, através dele, a salubridade ambiental de toda a população do Estado de São Paulo”, destacou.
Na sequência, Diogo Lessa, da Coordenadoria de Saneamento da SIMA/SP, fez um relato sobre o PESB/SP, com informações sobre seus objetivos, organização e fluxograma de atividades, destacando as etapas do Diagnóstico da Situação Atual e o acompanhamento do SIMA em torno do trabalho. O especialista informou que as informações podem ser acessadas na página do PESB, no site do SIMA.
