ABES-SP: curso online explica sistema de lodos ativados e recebe elogios de participantes

Ministrada pelo professor Paulo Cesar Guimarães Pereira, capacitação promovida pela Seção SP da ABES reuniu profissionais de diversas áreas do saneamento e contou com participação ativa de alunos.

Durante os dias 04, 05, 18 e 19 de maio, foi realizado o curso online “Operação e Controle de Sistemas de Tratamento de Esgoto – Lodos Ativados”, promovido pela Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção São Paulo (ABES-SP). Ministrada pelo biólogo e especialista em tecnologias ambientais, Prof. Paulo Cesar Guimarães Pereira, a capacitação explicou a tecnologia de lodos ativados, proporcionando aprendizados aos alunos sobre fundamentos de digestão aeróbia, bem como a operação adequada de reatores aeróbios.

“O tema de tratamento de esgoto é sempre atual, principalmente, em um país em desenvolvimento, onde cada dia mais sente-se a necessidade de formação de profissionais que possam atuar nesta área”, avaliou o professor Paulo Pereira.

As aulas abordaram os conceitos referentes à legislação do Conama, noções de biodegradação e definição dos processos de tratamento de lodos ativados, como ecologia dos microrganismos, formação de flocos, problemas de sedimentação e métodos de controle de bactérias, entre outros assuntos. O treinamento reuniu profissionais de diversos setores do saneamento e recebeu elogios dos participantes.

“O curso de Lodos Ativados agregou grande valor à minha vida profissional, pois pude aprender e relembrar ações que ocorrem na prática. Ademais, obtivemos resoluções de possíveis problemas, sendo muito prático e aplicável”, enalteceu Debora Nascimento, técnica de sistemas de saneamento da Sabesp.

A capacitação englobou profissionais das áreas de meio ambiente, de empresas de saneamento, abastecimento público, controle ambiental e indústrias privadas, operadores e encarregados de estações de tratamento de esgoto domésticos, efluentes industriais, bem com gerentes das áreas ambientais.

“Foi muito interessante o compartilhamento de experiências vividas em campo. Para nós, da Saneago, passamos a ter ideia dos desafios que nos esperam e as possíveis soluções para o nosso sistema de lodo ativado, que está em construção”, destacou Gilson Rocha, operador de sistemas da Saneago (Companhia de Saneamento de Goiás).

Já Leandro Löper, gerente da Divisão de Tratamento e Disposição Final de Esgoto da Baixada Santista da Sabesp, classificou como excelente a temática do curso. “O professor Paulo foi muito objetivo e didático para passar seus conhecimentos e experiências. Com certeza, o aprendizado será muito utilizado no nosso dia a dia profissional”, afirmou.
