Discussão aconteceu no âmbito da primeira Reunião Almoço do ano, que contou, ainda, com a assinatura de um convênio de cooperação técnica da seção com a CORSAN
A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES Seção Rio Grande do Sul (ABES-RS) promoveu nesta sexta, 25 de maio, a primeira “Reunião Almoço” de 2018. Com o tema “Saneamento ambiental em Foco”, o encontro, que aconteceu no Hotel Continental, em Porto Alegre/RS, contou com a palestra “Gestão de Recursos Hídricos e Saneamento e as Alterações na Legislação”, ministrada por Sergio Antônio Gonçalves, diretor nacional da ABES.
A reunião abordou as políticas nacionais de recursos hídricos e saneamento e as propostas de alteração que vêm sendo estudadas pelo Governo Federal. Segundo a presidente da ABES-RS, Jussara Kalil Pires, “foi questionada a oportunidade de modificar leis tão duramente construídas”. O palestrante Sérgio Gonçalves lembrou aos presentes que a ABES é contrária à modificação por meio de medida provisória (veja aqui a posição da entidade).
Convênio ABES-RS e CORSAN
Na ocasião, também foi assinado um convênio da seção com a CORSAN (Companhia Riograndense de Saneamento). A parceria, conforme explica Jussara, busca a cooperação técnica para a promoção da qualificação do setor de saneamento no Rio Grande do Sul. “A CORSAN apoiará a realização de eventos técnicos e de mobilização social da ABES-RS ao longo de 2018”, conta.
Próxima Reunião Almoço
Um novo encontro será realizado em 28 de junho, às 12h, e vai debater o tema “A responsabilidade penal de técnicos e gestores: balanço dos 20 anos da Lei de Crimes Ambientais (Lei 9605/98)”. Os palestrantes serão Antônio C. Tovo, coordenador da área de Direito Penal Empresarial do Escritório Correa Advogados, e Mário Rogério Soares, engenheiro químico, técnico da FEPAM (Fundação Estadual de Proteção Ambiental Henrique Luis Roessler – RS).
