ABES-PA: Diretoria reúne-se com presidente da COSANPA

No dia 18 de julho, a presidente da ABES Pará (ABES-PA), Vanessa Mello, acompanhada de integrantes da diretoria da seção, além da diretora nacional para a Região Norte, Vera Braz, reuniu-se com o presidente da COSANPA (Companhia de Saneamento do Pará), José Antônio de Angelis. O encontro, que aconteceu na sede da empresa, em Belém/PA, discutiu temas como conscientização da população quanto ao consumo de água tratada, a necessidade de instalação de hidrômetros para combater o desperdício de água potável e a importância do pagamento das faturas.

Na oportunidade, Vanessa Mello apresentou o histórico de parceria, apoio e trabalhos realizados com a COSANPA e também apresentou o plano de trabalho da nova Diretoria da seção paraense da ABES “Saneamento Integrado” para o biênio 2019/2021. Vera Braz falou sobre a UNIABES, que atua em capacitação, qualificação, certificação, gestão do conhecimento e aperfeiçoamento humano, sendo a maior plataforma de cursos do Brasil em saneamento ambiental.

O presidente da COSANPA também abordou a importância da união entre os profissionais do saneamento para trabalhar em prol do desenvolvimento do saneamento básico no estado.

A presidente da ABES-PA reforça que “a ABES trabalha de maneira unificada, nacionalmente, porém com ações independentes nas Seções Estaduais. Na Região Norte, é possível destacar o grande trabalho ambiental a ser feito na área amazônica. E para a diretoria da ABES-PA, a gestão feita com qualidade poderá mudar o cenário de saneamento em todo o estado”.
