ABES Conecta: 4º webinar da série sobre o rio São Francisco debate cobrança pelo uso da água

Evento promovido pela Diretoria Nordeste da ABES em 8 de julho reuniu especialistas da ANA, UFRN, CBHSF e SEMARH/AL para discutir o tema.

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES, por meio de sua Diretoria Nordeste, realizou nesta quinta-feira, 08 de julho, o quarto webinar da série especial “Um Caminho pelas Águas do Rio São Francisco: O Rio da Integração”. Desta vez, especialistas abordaram o tema “Cobrança pelo uso da água: pela união e Estado”.

A diretora nacional da ABES para a Região Nordeste, Vanessa Britto, fez a abertura do evento ao lado de Geny Formiga, vice-presidente da ABES-RN. A moderação foi feita Josemá de Azevedo, engenheiro, consultor e diretor da ABES-RN. 

A série tem como objetivo ampliar o debate e ações de saneamento básico e ambiental das regiões brasileiras que integram a bacia hidrográfica do também chamado Velho Chico.

O rio é considerado um dos mais importantes cursos de água do Brasil e da América do Sul. Ao todo, serão realizados seis encontros gratuitos, com a participação de diversos especialistas do setor e transmissão pelo canal da ABES no YouTube. 

O tema foi abordado pelos especialistas Giordano Bruno Bomtempo de Carvalho, coordenador de Sustentabilidades Financeiras e Cobrança da Agência Nacional de Águas e Saneamento Básico – ANA, José Mairton Figueiredo de França, professor adjunto da Universidade do Rio Grande do Norte – UERN, Almacks Luiz Silva, secretário Câmara Consultiva Regional (CCR) Submédio São Franscisco (CBHSF) e Pedro Lucas Cosmo de Brito, secretário executivo de Gestão Interna da SEMARH/AL.
