ABES-PA: XVI Semana de Meio Ambiente acontecerá de 8 a 13 de agosto, em Belém. Inscrições abertas

Com o tema “Consórcios Intermunicipais de Resíduos Sólidos Urbanos”, o evento acontecerá no formato presencial em meio à celebração de 45 anos de atuação da entidade no estado.

A Semana de Meio Ambiente da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção Pará (ABES-PA) chega a sua 16ª Edição e neste ano conta com parceria da empresa Hidrosam Saneamento & Meio Ambiente. Com o tema “Consórcios Intermunicipais de Resíduos Sólidos Urbanos”, o evento acontecerá em meio à celebração de 45 anos de atuação da entidade no estado, que contemplará 5 dias (de 8 a 13 de agosto) de atividades dedicadas ao saneamento e ao meio ambiente. 

No dia 10, quarta-feira, das 14h às 18h, serão realizadas palestras no Clube de Engenharia do Pará. As inscrições são gratuitas e podem ser feitas aqui.
 
O objetivo da realização é garantir a discussão sobre a criação de Consórcios Intermunicipais de Saneamento, considerando que a prestação regionalizada dos serviços públicos de manejo de Resíduos Sólidos Urbanos (RSU), bem como a cobrança de taxa ou tarifa são estratégias para assegurar a sustentabilidade econômico-financeira dos municípios. Leva em conta também o Decreto nº 10.588, de 24 de dezembro de 2020, que regulamentou a Lei nº 11.445/2007, e estabelece que os Consórcios Públicos de Manejo de RSU são uma das formas de prestação regionalizada eficazes. 

De 8 a 12, acontecerão dois cursos:

1: Elaboração de Plano Municipal de Gestão Integrada de Resíduos Sólidos: novas tecnologias para a Amazônia.

Completando a programação, ocorrerá o retorno do Happy Hour da ABES-PA. A semana será finalizada uma Caminhada Ecológica no Parque Estadual do Utinga Camilo Vianna.
