Em nova carta a autoridades, ABES e outras entidades solicitam que MP para alteração do Marco Legal do Saneamento não seja implementada

A ABES enviou, nesta quinta-feira, 21 de dezembro, novo documento ao presidente Michel Temer e outras autoridades, como ministros e presidentes do Senado e da Câmara dos Deputados.

Juntamente com AESBE, Assemae e APECS, a entidade reitera o pedido para  que a revisão do Marco Legal do Saneamento (Lei 11.445) não seja implementada por Medida Provisória.

Assunto: Medida Provisória para alteração do Marco Legal do Saneamento

 

Senhor Presidente,

 

As entidades do Setor de Saneamento abaixo subscritas, vêm, por meio desta, reiterar o pedido a Vossa Excelência para que a revisão do Marco Legal do Saneamento (Lei 11.445) não seja implementada por Medida Provisória.

 

Entendemos que a proposta de revisão por meio deste instrumento pode desestruturar totalmente o setor de saneamento no Brasil.

 

Propomos, portanto, que a alteração na legislação descrita na proposta seja referenciada por meio de Projeto de Lei. A possibilidade de alteração por medida provisória pode ser considerada ato inconstitucional, enquanto o Projeto de Lei abre o debate no Legislativo, permitindo maior participação da sociedade, afinal, o projeto de lei trata-se de um instrumento mais democrático.

 

O Setor de Saneamento no Brasil defende o amplo debate, para que o país possa trabalhar unido pela universalização dos serviços de saneamento, pela saúde e pela qualidade de vida das pessoas.

Estamos à disposição para colaborar com propostas e ações que melhorem o saneamento no Brasil, sempre defendendo o debate plural e a participação ampla da sociedade.
