Quem acessar na plataforma online de consulta pública até o dia 23 poderá participar da votação. Os temas que receberem mais votos serão enviados à 2ª Reunião das Partes interessadas que acontece ainda este mês. A ABES é uma das entidades do Comitê Organizador do evento interncional.

Até o dia 23 de abril será possível eleger os temas que poderão integrar a grade da programação do 8º Fórum Mundial da Água, que vai acontecer em Brasília entre 18 e 23 de março de 2018.  Quem entrar na plataforma Sua Voz oferecerá seu voto e ainda contribuirá com a troca de ideias iniciada em fevereiro.

A ABES é uma das entidades integrantes do Comitê Organizador do Fórum e o Congresso ABES Fenasan (que ocorrerá de 2 a 6 de outubro deste ano em São Paulo) é considerada uma das etapas preparatórias do Fórum Mundial da Água. O presidente da ABES-SP, Alceu Guérios Bittencourt, é um dos brasileiros indicados para compor o Grupo Temático do 8o Fórum Mundial da Água (saiba mais aqui). O diretor nacional da ABES, Carlos Alberto Rosito, também integra a Comissão Organizadora.

Para votar, basta indicar os temas de preferência oferecidos na plataforma em cada uma das salas e temas transversais que permeiam todas as discussões.

As opções mais votadas serão levadas à 2º Reunião de Consulta às Partes Interessadas, encontro preparatório do 8º Fórum, que acontecerá em Brasília, nos dias 26 e 27 de abril deste ano. O Encontro ainda recebe inscrições. Clique aqui para garantir sua vaga.

A ferramenta Sua Voz permite que cidadãos de qualquer lugar do planeta com acesso à internet compartilhem ideias, experiências e soluções e façam sugestões que poderão ser incluídas no maior encontro mundial sobre água. Serão três rodadas de discussão. A primeira rodada começou em fevereiro e já recebeu cerca de 10 mil visitas e mais de 360 contribuições. Outras duas rodadas estão programadas para começaram em maio e agosto.  Essa é uma oportunidade de cidadãos do mundo inteiro, especialista no tema ou não, de contribuir para 8º Fórum Mundial da Água.

Clima: está em transformação e afeta os e padrões de chuvas e de vazão de rios, o que impacta na disponibilidade de água, na vida humana e nas atividades em geral. É preciso preparo para lidar com a incerteza, inundações e secas mais frequentes

Pessoas: o acesso à água potável é um direito humano, mas ainda não é uma realidade para um grande número de pessoas ao redor do mundo. A falta de água e de saneamento ameaçam a saúde e a dignidade humana, principalmente entre populações mais pobres.

Desenvolvimento: a forma como os diferentes setores usam a água é fator chave para alcançar desenvolvimento sustentável, crescimento econômico, justiça social e proteção do meio ambiente.

Urbano: a concentração da população nas cidades influencia o consumo, a qualidade e a disponibilidade de água. Muitas pessoas vivem em áreas urbanas sem infraestrutura e serviços adequados.

Ecossistemas: água em quantidade e qualidade adequada é fundamental para manter a biodiversidade e a subsistência de ecossistemas. Ambientes naturais desempenham um papel importante fornecendo com melhor qualidade e em maior quantidade para as pessoas.

Financiamento: segurança hídrica depende do adequado financiamento público e privado para infraestrutura e gestão. É necessário aprofundar o debate para melhorar o financiamento de tecnologias inovadoras sustentáveis e de medidas para lidar com incertezas.

Entenda os temas transversais:

Compartilhamento: toda água é compartilhada por diferentes regiões, governos, atividades humanas e grupos de pessoas. A gestão da água e as decisões devem envolver todos para divisão equitativa de benefícios, soluções e boas práticas em recursos hídricos.

Capacidades: deve fornecer aos usuários, governos, tomadores de decisão e pessoas ao redor do mundo a informação adequada, educação e Ciência & Tecnologia para o desenvolvimento sustentável e equitativo.

Governança: água é um tema transversal entre fronteiras, setores, grupos e níveis de governo. Abordar problemas hídricos integrando todos esses aspectos requer boa governança, o que compreende as regras, práticas e processos para fazer e implementar as decisões em benefício da sociedade.

As discussões online são coordenadas pela Agência Nacional de Águas (ANA) em articulação com o Secretariado e demais instâncias de organização do Fórum. A plataforma Sua Voz está disponível em português e inglês no site http://www.worldwaterforum8.org/ e conta ferramenta de tradução para mais 90 idiomas, de modo a facilitar a participação de pessoas da maioria dos países do mundo. O objetivo é fazer do 8º Fórum um evento plural e democrático, em alinhamento com o tema da próxima edição: “Compartilhando Água”.

O Fórum Mundial da Água acontece a cada três anos com os objetivos de elevar a importância do tema água na agenda política dos governos e promover o aprofundamento das discussões, troca de experiências e formulação de propostas concretas para os desafios relacionados aos recursos hídricos. Será a primeira vez que o maior encontro mundial sobre água vai acontecer no hemisfério Sul.

O 8° Fórum é realizado e organizado pelo Governo Federal, por meio do Ministério do Meio Ambiente; pelo Governo do Distrito Federal e pelo Conselho Mundial da Água, com apoio da Agência Nacional de Águas (ANA) e da Agência Reguladora de Águas, Energia e Saneamento Básico do Distrito Federal (Adasa). As edições anteriores do Fórum Mundial da Água aconteceram em Marrakesh, Marrocos (1997); Haia, Holanda (2000); Quioto, Shiga e Osaka, Japão (2003); Cidade do México, México (2006); Istambul, Turquia (2009); Marselha, França (2012); e Daegu e Gyeongbuk, Coreia do Sul (2015).
