ABES-RS: 11º Simpósio Internacional de Qualidade Ambiental recebe até 8 de abril inscrições de trabalhos técnicos

O 11º Simpósio Internacional de Qualidade Ambiental está com inscrições abertas para envio de trabalhos técnicos até o dia 8 de abril. Promovido pela Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção Rio Grande do Sul (ABES-RS), o evento ocorrerá entre os dias 02 e 04 de outubro de 2018, no Teatro da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul – CEPUC, localizado no Campus Central, no coração de Porto Alegre. Nesta edição, o simpósio pretende abordar a relação entre meio ambiente, economia e política.

Entre os temas que serão discutidos estão os impactos dos fatores econômicos e políticos na definição e implantação de soluções tecnológicas, a exemplo das tecnologias para reuso de água, aproveitamento de lodos de esgotos sanitários, minimização do uso de água, eficiência energética, energias alternativas, reciclagem e reaproveitamento de resíduos sólidos. Pretende-se, ainda, debater os principais problemas ambientais brasileiros e gaúchos, bem como temas como o enfrentamento das consequências das mudanças climáticas, e sua relação com a economia e a política.

O evento desenvolve-se ao longo de três dias, com a apresentação de painéis, palestras, trabalhos técnicos, estudos de casos empresariais. Ao lado das atividades técnicas, ocorre a mostra de produtos e serviços, aberta à visitação do público interessado. Ainda, a cada edição são pensadas atividades paralelas que atraem públicos específicos. Nas dez edições anteriores o evento contou em média com 600 participantes e consagrou-se como um dos maiores eventos da área na América Latina.
