Representante da ABES-SP é eleito presidente do Conselho Gestor do COMDEMA Bauru

Ricardo Crepaldi, que preside da Subseção Centro-Paulista da Associação e coordena a Câmara Técnica de Meio Ambiente e Mudanças Climáticas, ocupará o cargo na gestão 2023-24.

Durante a reunião plenária do Conselho Municipal de Defesa do Meio Ambiente – COMDEMA Bauru, na última sexta feira, 24 de março de 2023, foi eleita por aclamação a chapa encabeçada, por Ricardo Crepaldi, representante da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – Seção São Paulo, como próximo presidente do Conselho Gestor para a gestão de 2023 a 2024. Crepaldi é presidente da Subseção Centro-Paulista da ABES-SP e coordenador da Câmara Técnica de Meio Ambiente e Mudanças Climáticas.

A prefeita de Bauru, Suéllen Rosim, dará posse formal ao Comitê Gestor na próxima reunião plenária do COMDEMA, que acontecerá em 31 de março de 2024.

O COMDEMA Bauru é o 2º mais antigo do país. Atualmente, com 38 anos, o Conselho foi criado pela Lei Municipal 2.514, de 24 de outubro de 1984, e é composto por 30 entidades do Poder Público Estadual, do Poder Público Municipal e da Sociedade Civil. O COMDEMA Bauru é responsável pelo Fundo Municipal de Meio Ambiente (FMMA), o qual controla, anualmente, milhões em recursos públicos para aplicação em ações ambientais e de desenvolvimento sustentável na cidade. Trata-se de um órgão consultivo, deliberativo e de assessoramento da Prefeitura Municipal de Bauru, em questões relacionadas ao meio ambiente em toda a área do município, o qual é suportado operacionalmente pela Secretaria Municipal de Meio Ambiente – SEMMA.
