DIADESOL 2022: encerramento tem palestras sobre resíduos sólidos e anúncio dos vencedores dos Concursos de Desenho Infantil e Video Amador

O evento aconteceu online, com transmissão pelo canal da ABES-SP no YouTube. Marcaram presença José Valverde (CIRS/SIMA-SP), Consuelo Yatsuda Moromizato Yoshida (TRF3), Lia Helena Monteiro de Lima Demange (Cetesb), e Camilla Horizonte (Reciclus). Os convidados falaram sobre resíduos sólidos, direito ambiental, logística reversa e educação ambiental.  

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção São Paulo (ABES-SP) anunciou na última sexta-feira, 18 de novembro, os vencedores dos concursos de Desenho Infantil e Video Amador da edição de 2022 da Campanha DIADESOL – Dia Interamericano de Limpeza e Cidadania. O evento de encerramento, que aconteceu online, com transmissão pelo YouTube (disponível aqui), contou com palestras sobre direito ambiental, resíduos sólidos, logística reversa e educação ambiental.

O DIADESOL é uma iniciativa de conscientização promovida pela ABES-SP, por meio de sua Câmara Técnica de Resíduos Sólidos, e pela Associação Interamericana de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – AIDIS. Os objetivos são incentivar as escolas e seus alunos a refletirem sobre as questões dos resíduos sólidos e seus impactos no meio ambiente e na saúde, e estar alinhada com os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS), estabelecidos pela Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU).

“A Campanha DIADESOL é muito importante para a ABES, pois conta com a participação das crianças e dos jovens. É o único programa da ABES que promove um tema específico para essa faixa etária”, destaca Roseane Garcia, diretora da ABES-SP e coordenadora das Câmaras da ABES (nacional e estadual) de Resíduos Sólidos e de Saúde Ambiental. “Após dois anos sem concurso, esperamos uma adesão muito maior das escolas para o ano que vem e a sensibilização para trabalhar temas relativos aos resíduos, não só para a questão ambiental, mas para a saúde ambiental como um todo”, enfatiza ela, que realizou a abertura do evento ao lado de Uladyr Nayme, presidente da Asec-Cebesb (Associação dos Engenheiros e Especialistas da Cetesb e do Meio Ambiente).

Delaine Romano, coordenadora adjunta da Câmara Técnica de Resíduos Sólidos da ABES-SP, que apresentou a premiação, ressalta que o resultado da Campanha DIADESOL foi bastante positivo, com mais de 600 desenhos e 12 vídeos inscritos. “Às vésperas da premiação, em virtude do aumento de restrições sanitárias, resolvemos fazer um evento híbrido, em formato presencial, com a Comissão Organizadora na sede da ABES-SP e outras no formato online, o que deu muito certo. Foi muito bacana poder contar com as crianças para falar sobre a sua participação no concurso. As crianças foram orientadas pelas professoras e pela coordenação das escolas. Neste ano, tivemos escolas bastante atuantes, algumas delas do interior. Foi uma singularidade não termos nenhum premiado da cidade de São Paulo”, observa.

“Temos uma premiação com três colocações no concurso de desenho e três no concurso de vídeos. Não é importante a colocação deles, se é primeiro, segundo ou terceiro, para a ABES o importante é que as crianças participem, são todas vencedoras. Temos essas colocações para poder abrir a votação online e as pessoas poderem votar de casa. A escolha é da Comissão Organizadora Estadual e a do público, no site da ABES, obedecendo alguns critérios.  A premiação dos desenhos é igual para que as crianças não achem que uma ganhou e a outra perdeu”, detalha Delaine. “A premiação do vídeo difere um pouco porque é aberto para todas as idades. Neste ano, tivemos prêmios de menção honrosa, contemplando alguns desenhos que não cumpriam o quesito ‘temática’, porém os desenhos eram interessantes e abordavam temas como a inclusão social e a solidariedade; como não daria para premiá-los, concedemos uma menção honrosa presenteando-os com um certificado de participação no concurso”, explica, que anunciou os vencedores da edição.

Concurso de Desenho Infantil

O concurso de Desenho Infantil está em sua 11ª edição e teve como tema “Desenhe como você e sua família estão ajudando a cuidar dos resíduos na sua casa ou comunidade”.

Destinado a estudantes de escolas públicas e privadas, com idades entre 6 e 10 anos, o primeiro lugar foi conquistado pela aluna Heloisa Fudalli Ribeiro Dias, de 10 anos, da EMEIF Manuel José Martins, escola que fica na zona rural do município de Pariquera-Açu/SP, no bairro Conchal.   

“Foi gratificante ganhar em primeiro lugar. Estou muito feliz pelo reconhecimento, ainda mais por vir de uma cidade pequena”, diz Heloisa. “É mais um incentivo para um futuro melhor e que venham mais concursos”.

A sua professora, Berenice Giordani, agradece a oportunidade de poder inscrever seus alunos para participar entre todo o Brasil: “Foi muito interessante, eles gostam de competições desse tipo e espero que isso continue cada vez mais e melhor”, afirma.

A vice-diretora da escola, Eliana Batista dos Santos Lima, conta que durante esse ano letivo, as professoras da EMEIF realizaram atividades relacionadas ao Meio Ambiente, “tendo em vista a grande importância e necessidade de se trabalhar esse assunto com as crianças, pensando em futuros adultos preocupados com o Meio Ambiente”. 

Ela lembra que a atividade já acontecia por conta da parceria que escola tem com a Secretária do Meio Ambiente do município. “Quando recebemos a proposta do projeto DIADESOL, percebemos que esse projeto viria para somar. A professora Berenice Giordani realizou várias atividades, dentre elas o estudo do material do DIADESOL e exibição de vídeos sobre preservação da natureza e cuidados com o lixo que produzimos. Além disso, nossos alunos também trouxeram para a escola todo o resíduo sólido reciclável, que encaminhamos para uma empresa de reciclagem, além de Pilhas, baterias e óleo de cozinha usado. Nesse ano foram mais de duas toneladas de lixo que conseguimos dar um destino correto”, conta.

 

Eliana ressalta ainda que “com todo trabalho desenvolvido na escola, os alunos começaram a cobrar seus pais sobre a importância do destino correto para o lixo. Para finalizar o projeto, a professora pediu para que os alunos representassem através de um desenho tudo que haviam aprendido, confeccionando um livro contando a importância de cuidar da natureza”.

Fábio Severo, coordenador da Equipe de Voluntariado da Sabesp Unidade de Negócio Vale do Ribeira, que abrange 23 municípios, esteve na premiação com os alunos da EMEIF Manuel José Martins. Ele conta que participaram do lançamento nacional do DIADESOL, em março, e então desenvolveram “um plano de trabalho com o objetivo de garantir o maior número possível de escolas inscritas na região. Tivemos a grata satisfação de poder inscrever 7 escolas de Pariquera-Açu, que atende 1.280 alunos do ensino fundamental”, orgulha-se. A Reciclus, parceira do DIADESOL, doou 1.280 unidades da Cartilha do Bem para a região e, segundo Fábio, isso foi fundamental para a participação de muitos alunos, “possibilitando um resultado positivo e coroando toda a caminhada desse trabalho com a premiação da aluna Heloísa”, reconhece. 

A diretora executiva de Meio Ambiente da prefeitura de Pariquera-Açu, Renata Lima, parabeniza a todos os envolvidos e especialmente a Heloísa Fudalli. Ela diz que ficou muito feliz quando Fábio apresentou o DIADESOL e a ABES. Segundo ela, a iniciativa “veio a somar com os trabalhos de Educação Ambiental que já desenvolvemos nas escolas através do Projeto Escola Amiga do Meio Ambiente. Eu acredito na Educação Ambiental, pois é através da conscientização ambiental desde cedo que tornaremos essas crianças em agentes multiplicadores e em futuros adultos com atitudes mais saudáveis e sustentáveis”, sublinha.

O segundo lugar do concurso de Desenho Infantil ficou com Heloísa Ximendes da Silva, de 6 anos, do Colégio Batista Maranata, de Curitiba/PR. “Achei muito divertido e fiquei muito feliz em participar do concurso e ficar em segundo lugar”, diz a pequena vencedora.

O terceiro lugar foi para Linda Liz de Jesus Paulino, da Escola Estadual Senador César Lacerda de Vergueiro, de Araras/SP. 

Concurso de Vídeo Amador

A 15ª edição do concurso de Vídeo Amador teve como tema “Resíduos na sua comunidade, bairro e/ou cidade”. Voltado a estudantes e público em geral, a competição recebeu doze vídeos no total. O primeiro lugar foi concedido para a turma do sexto ano da Escola Antonio Maisano, do município de Itapeva/SP, que produziu o vídeo sobre as atividades que fizeram na escola após trabalharem a Cartilha do Bem na aula. Representando a turma, Aline Catarina da Silva afirma ter sido muito gratificante a conquista: “Recebemos o material aqui na escola, a proposta, e os alunos abraçaram a ideia, buscaram participar e foi muito show. Eles participaram do vídeo, fizeram trabalhos com cartazes, rodas de conversa e isso refletiu muito na comunidade da escola, em que muitas famílias sobrevivem da reciclagem”, lembra Aline.

O segundo lugar foi para o vídeo “Educando pra vida: lixo na lixeira!”, de Lucca Pereira Reis, do município de Três Corações/MG, e a terceira colocação foi para Alice Dias Silva, do Município de Olímpia/SP, pelo vídeo “Como não Cuidaram do Planeta Terra”. Assista aos vídeos aqui.

Palestras

 

Antes do anúncio dos vencedores, a cerimônia de encerramento contou com palestras sobre a temática resíduos sólidos.

Nina Orlow, coordenadora do Movimento Nacional pelos ODS do Estado de São Paulo e Rede Nossa São Paulo – Grupo de Trabalho de Meio Ambiente, foi a moderadora da primeira parte do evento: “Resíduos sólidos: Legislações e impactos no meio ambiente, sociais e na saúde”. 

“Temos o privilégio de fazer parte da iniciativa DIADESOL desde a primeira edição, inicialmente pela Agenda 21, que tinha o capítulo 21 sobre resíduos e agora pela Agenda 2030 da ONU, com 17 objetivos integrados”, recorda Nina. “Quando divulgamos a importância do manejo sustentável dos resíduos sólidos, especialmente envolvendo jovens e crianças estamos não só falando do ODS 12 – Produção, consumo e descarte, mas também do ODS 4 – pela Educação, ODS 8 e 10 – pela Inclusão e geração de trabalho e renda, e ODS 11 – pelas Cidades Sustentáveis, entre outros”, reitera a especialista. “Embora tenha um edital e alguns tenham sido premiados, entendemos que todos os que participaram foram vencedores! Parabéns à ABES, à AIDIS e a todos parceiros que se envolveram”.

Durante o evento, Nina Orlow falou sobre os ODS e a importância de integrar e colocar em prática esses 17 objetivos do desenvolvimento sustentável. “Por meio do DIADESOL buscamos levar o assunto para as escolas, para que os jovens trabalhem esse olhar sobre a questão dos resíduos”, diz, lembrando também da construção da Cartilha do Bem. “Gostaríamos muito de popularizar esse assunto, levar justamente para as crianças, porque como sabemos, elas muitas vezes reeducam os adultos na forma como eles tratam seus resíduos”, pontua.

O convidado José Valverde, coordenador do Comitê de Integração de Resíduos Sólidos (CIRS) da Secretaria de Infraestrutura e Meio Ambiente do Estado de São Paulo (SIMA), foi um dos convidados do evento e destacou a importância dos Resíduos orgânicos, recicláveis, logística reversa, e outras práticas sustentáveis. 

“O DIADESOL é um dia festivo, um dia de mobilização, um dia de conscientização, um dia de luta para essa nossa causa. E o tema resíduos sólidos, sem dúvida nenhuma, se conecta a esse espírito, se conecta a esse momento e a esses ideais de transformação”, destacou José Valverde, na ocasião. “Nós aqui no Estado de São Paulo, nesses últimos quatro anos, buscamos implementar a Política Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos na política estadual”, disse, “também colocando muito foco na regionalização e nas novas rotas tecnológicas, nessa linha da valorização dos resíduos sólidos, seguindo o ordenamento proposto pela PNRS de não gerar, mas reutilizar e reciclar. Enfim, de valorizar tudo aquilo que é colocado na lei, como um bem de valor econômico e que tem um grande potencial de estabelecer inclusão social, geração de trabalho e renda”, ponderou. 

Também presente no encerramento, Consuelo Yatsuda Moromizato Yoshida, desembargadora federal do Tribunal Regional Federal da 3.ª Região, TRF3, deu uma aula sobre o direito ambiental e as questões sociais dos catadores. 

“Eu tenho muito prazer em me juntar a todas essas pessoas que fazem o bem. É tão difícil, nos dias atuais, encontrarmos boas notícias. O problema é que a grande mídia não divulga trabalhos valorosos como este. Então eu fico muito feliz quando sou lembrada para participar de iniciativas valorosas e que mostram que a cidadania, no caso aqui ambiental, está em construção, com a valorização de todos os segmentos sociais”, ressaltou em sua fala inicial. Na oportunidade, Consuelo falou especificamente da inclusão dos catadores, assunto “tão relevante e importante na política nacional de resíduos sólidos”. 

Lia Helena Monteiro de Lima Demange, gerente da Divisão de Logística Reversa e Gestão de Resíduos Sólidos – Companhia Ambiental do Estado de São Paulo – Cetesb, discorreu sobre o tema “O que o cidadão pode fazer em logística reversa”. 

A especialista afirma que entre as principais questões presentes no tema, está a separação dos resíduos, que são coletados pela prefeitura. Isso porque, segundo Lia, o cidadão também pode exigir que o comércio onde compram seus produtos tenham pontos de coleta para o recebimento dos resíduos gerados, além de exigir a realização da coleta e logística reversa aos fabricantes. “É como se o consumidor também fizesse ali a sua parte de fiscalização ambiental, não é só a Cetesb, que faz por parte do governo, o consumidor com o seu poder de compra tem o papel também de exigir dos seus fornecedores, das empresas de quem ele adquire seus produtos, ele também consegue exercer um controle social sobre o cumprimento dessa obrigação”, explica Lia, aproveitando para parabenizar os responsáveis pela iniciativa, que tem “um papel super importante de conscientização, divulgando as informações para as novas gerações”.

Encerrando a sessão de palestras, Camilla Horizonte, reposnsável pela prospecção e marketing da Reciclus, gestora de Logística Reversa de Lâmpadas, apresentou as iniciativas da Reciclus para a educação ambiental. Na apresentação “Reciclus na Escola e a Cartilha do Bem – Os desafios da Educação Ambiental”, Camila falou sobre a associação sem fins lucrativos, criada pelos importadores de lâmpadas, responsável por operacionalizar a Logística Reversa das lâmpadas que contém mercúrio em sua composição, e disponibiliza pontos de entrega em estabelecimentos comerciais em todo o Brasil para que pessoas físicas possam descartá-las. 

A “Cartilha do Bem: Aprendendo a Cuidar do Meio Ambiente”, iniciativa da ABES-SP, em parceria com a Reciclus, que está disponível online, foi lançada junto com a campanha DIADESOL de 2022, em 11 de março, para estimular a educação ambiental nas escolas. Camilla apresentou os efeitos que a cartilha já surtiu, contando sobre eventos em que foi distribuída e projetos para que a cartilha seja usada em salas de aula. “Para nós, é realmente muito gratificante ver o trabalho feito por essa brilhante parceria”, afirmou. “Realmente, é uma sementinha que plantamos, já brotou e terá muitos bons frutos com todas as crianças e adolescentes que tiverem acesso ao nosso conteúdo”, realçou.

Para finalizar as apresentações, foi exibido um vídeo enviado por Mirna Argueta, vice-presidente Técnica da AIDIS, e Haydee Aguadé, diretora da Divisão de Ambientes Saludáveis – DIAMSA, sobre o DIADESOL.

“A gestão de resíduos sólidos requer a participação conjunta de todos os cidadãos. Não é uma questão de governos, por isso estou muito grata por todas as atividades que têm sido feitas. Lembro também que nesta pandemia a geração de resíduos sólidos nas nossas casas aumentou, com a questão dos plásticos, embalagens de alimentos e utilização de máscaras, isso implica uma gestão mais adequada. Precisamos trabalhar juntos, unidos, governos locais e municipais, sociedade civil e organizações, para limpar e melhorar a qualidade de vida da população”, enfatizou Mirna Argueta.

Haydee Aguadé parabenizou o trabalho da ABES-SP com o DIADESOL, que tem sido uma referência para as atividades da área, com os concursos e a campanha. Ela também anunciou que no 38º Congresso de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental da AIDIS, realizado de 13 a 16 de novembro, em Punta Cana, na República Dominicana, foi criado o Dia Interamericano do Saneamento. 

Uladyr Naime reforça que a “Asec-Cetesb participou com muita alegria de mais um encerramento da Campanha DIADESOL, juntamente com a ABES e a AIDIS. Agradecemos a parceria, com a participação de Mirna Argueta e Haydee Aguadé, que incentivaram a realização da campanha, e parabenizamos à ABES por mais uma edição do DIADESOL”.
