JPS Núcleo Baixada Santista realiza visita à ETA Cubatão da Sabesp

A atividade aconteceu neste sábado, 20 de agosto, e reuniu jovens que estão no início de suas carreiras e profissionais mais experientes.

No último sábado, 20 de agosto, o programa Jovens Profissionais do Saneamento da ABES Seção São Paulo – JPS Núcleo Baixada Santista realizou uma visita técnica à Estação de Tratamento de Água da Sabesp (ETA 3 Cubatão), em Cubatão/SP.

A atividade, segundo Isabella Jabois da Silva, engenheira sanitarista e coordenadora do JPS Núcleo Baixada, a atividade ofereceu aos participantes a oportunidade de conhecerem e acompanharem explicações técnicas realizadas pelo operador da área acerca de todas as etapas do processo e funcionamento do tratamento de água da estação que abastece mais de uma cidade da Baixada Santista. 

Isabella destaca também que além do conhecimento, houve uma troca muito valiosa entre os jovens que estão no início de suas carreiras e os profissionais mais experientes.

“A visita agrega muito aprendizado e conhecimento para a carreira profissional dos voluntários, cujas formações acadêmicas são de diferentes áreas, porém, todos têm o saneamento básico como área de atuação”, comenta a jovem profissional. “O JPS Baixada agradece a parceria com os colaboradores da Sabesp associados à ABES-SP para que essa visita técnica acontecesse”, conclui Isabella.

Zenivaldo Ascenção dos Santos, secretário da Subseção Litoral da ABES-SP, reforça que a visita teve a finalidade de agregar uma atividade buscando seguidores para a construção de um grupo focado no mesmo ideal. “Com essa promoção e apoio foi um passo importante para o alinhamento e crescimento e assim cavar discussões sobre o tema saneamento e meio ambiente. A visita técnica é o ingrediente importante para fazermos o estreitamento entre os grupos”, enfatiza.

Sobre o JPS

O Jovens Profissionais do Saneamento é um programa de desenvolvimento contínuo, criado pela Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental em 2010, que tem como objetivo despertar habilidades e lideranças entre os jovens que atuam em saneamento, e promover o debate de temas atuais relacionados ao setor de Saneamento e Meio Ambiente. O JPS está presente em quase todos os estados brasileiros.

O JPS proporciona aos seus integrantes ações como suporte à publicação de artigos técnicos para apresentação em congressos, divulgação de cursos, participação em eventos, promoção de visitas técnicas e palestras sobre o setor, com o objetivo de aprimorar o conhecimento acadêmico dos jovens e promover uma rede de relacionamento.
