A ABES – Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental enviou aos representantes do Congresso Nacional uma carta demonstrando sua preocupação com a apreciação dos vetos da Presidência da República à Lei 14.026, que institui o Novo Marco Legal do Saneamento no Brasil (leia aqui a íntegra da carta e o posicionamento sobre os vetos neste link).

A ABES entende que a rejeição aos vetos é essencial para restaurar a possibilidade de um ambiente de entendimento para a implantação dos novos mecanismos, de modo a não se perder o foco na busca da universalização dos serviços, com qualidade, equidade e eficiência.

A ABES defende que a universalização dos serviços deve ser buscada com incentivo à qualidade e eficiência dos prestadores de serviço e dos reguladores e com boas decisões dos poderes concedentes, sem desestruturar o que existe e funciona adequadamente, quaisquer que sejam as intenções de reorganização do setor.

Você também pode escrever ao parlamentar de seu estado pela derrubada dos vetos e pelo cumprimento dos acordos do Congresso. Participe da campanha, enviando mensagem aos parlamentares.

Profissionais bons podem existem no publico e no privado , mas água é um bem de todos e não pode ser tratada como mercadoria visando lucro em primeiro lugar…

  197. Essa ação é absurdamente fora do pensamento de levar o bem estar a todos. Cada vez mais é a perda de caráter em pensar no coletivo, o Brasil existe com mais de 200 milhões de pessoas, e elas necessitam viver de maneira decente e humana. É preciso ter pessoas realmente sérias e interessadas em fazer uma política pensando no coletivo, mentalizo que o veto não seja aprovado, pois isso faz com que o saneamento seja para todos.

  199. Não a privatização do saneamento.
    Com a privatização as comunidades vulneráveis serão muito afetadas, pois investidores empresariais nunca se interessaram por resolver problemas sociais, na verdade o que devemos lutar é pela universalização dos serviços de saneamentos e ampliar os cuidados com o meio ambiente.

  202. O Marco Legal deixa incertezas ou seja não está claro quanto a sanear (água segura de qualidade e esgotamento sanitário)as populações vulneráveis (aglomerados isolados,rurais entre outros )para cumprir as diretrizes da agenda 2030 principalmente a ODS-6
    Quanta a privatização deveriam ser revista as Concessionárias de serviços de saramonete seja estadual ou municipal que estejam dando bons resultados/ devem ser preservadas ,”Não a Privatização”
