ABES-SP e AESabesp promovem discussão de alta qualidade técnica no Encontro Tecnológico de Tratamento de Esgotos Domésticos em Comunidades Isoladas

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – Seção São Paulo (ABES-SP), por meio da Câmara Técnica de Saneamento e Saúde em Comunidades Isoladas (CTCI/ABES-SP), e a Associação dos Engenheiros da Sabesp (AESabesp), em parceria com instituições apoiadoras (ASEC/CETESB, APU, FABHAT e Sabesp), promoveram, nesta quarta-feira, 29 de agosto, o I Encontro Tecnológico de Tratamento de Esgotos Domésticos em Comunidades Isoladas – Unidades Pré-Fabricadas.

O evento, que ocorreu no Auditório Augusto Ruschi da CETESB, reuniu profissionais da área de saneamento para compartilhar suas experiências relacionadas ao tratamento de esgotos e suas alternativas tecnológicas em comunidades isoladas.

No encontro, foram avaliadas as especificidades de cada solução – produtos, aplicabilidade, logística de entrega, instalação, operação e manutenção das unidades –e divulgadas soluções compatíveis com a diversidade das demandas atuais por sistemas simplificados de coleta e tratamento de esgotos. Além disso, o evento abordou a performance e avaliação de custos (exemplos de aplicação em escala real) e discutiu arranjos de soluções.

A abertura foi realizada pelos presidentes da ABES-SP, Márcio Gonçalves de Oliveira, e da AESabesp, Olavo Sachs. Ao longo do dia, foram apresentadas palestras com especialistas como Hélio Suleiman, diretor presidente da Fundação Agência da Bacia Hidrográfica do Alto Tietê (FABHAT), que falou sobre “A visão do Comitê da Bacia Hidrográfica do Alto Tietê (CBH-AT) sobre as soluções individualizadas de esgotos domésticos que podem contribuir para o reuso e serem ecologicamente sustentáveis”, Pedro Alacon, consultor de Projetos na Companhia Águas de Joinville (CAJ) e Membro do Comitê de Saneamento da ABNT, que abordou o tema “Contexto das soluções de tratamento de esgotos da ABNT que estão em revisão“, e Paulo Pereira, Secretário do Meio Ambiente da Prefeitura Municipal de Extrema, que discorreu sobre visão de saneamento no município no contexto da proteção de mananciais e gestão compartilhada.

Nos painéis, o primeiro deles abordou o tema “Unidades Pré-Fabricadas para Sistemas Semicoletivos de Esgotos Domésticos”, com participações de Paul Neveux, da Sebico Brasil, Claudio Kroeber, da Fibratec Engenharia, Joelias dos Santos, da Ectas Saneamento S.A, e considerações de Josué Tadeu Leite França, da Sabesp-Itapetininga, e Pedro Alacon, consultor de Projetos na Companhia Águas de Joinville (CAJ) e Membro do Comitê de Saneamento da ABNT.

 

O painel 2 tratou do tema “Unidades Pré-Fabricadas para Soluções Individuais de Esgotos Domésticos”, com explanações de Daniel Kuchida, da Acqualimp, Rodrigo Cilento, da Sani Solar, Wilson Silva, da Embrapa (Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária), e considerações de Luciano Lopes, analista de Sistemas de Saneamento da Sabesp, e Ana Lúcia Brasil, coordenadora da Câmara Técnica de Saneamento e Saúde em Comunidades Isoladas da ABES-SP.

“A ABES-SP, ASEC e AESABESP estão promovendo esse importante encontro de tratamento de esgoto doméstico em comunidades isoladas. Temos aqui apresentações de alternativas e soluções. É um desafio, pois nem sempre dá para tratar o esgoto em pequenas comunidades em um grande sistema porque o transporte de esgoto e levar para a estação de tratamento é muito caro. Discutimos quais são as soluções viáveis pro meio ambiente com custo baixo. Foi um dia muito proveitoso, a discussão com os representantes, a academia, para podermos buscar e solucionar esses problemas”, ressaltou o presidente da ABES-SP, Márcio Gonçalves.

Como pontuou Sonia Nogueira, da Comissão Organizadora de Eventos da Sabesp, as tecnologias apresentadas precisam ser implementadas nessas áreas que não têm saneamento público. “A comunidade deve ter água, pois água é saúde. O encontro foi muito importante porque os fabricantes trazem várias ideias e soluções. A comunidade deve escolher, ter uma associação para operacionalizar sozinha após ser treinada e capacitada. Estamos discutindo as Normas da ABNT que foram citadas pelo palestrante Pedro Alacon, em que insistimos que os fabricantes apresentem uma definição de como opera o sistema, como é a sua instalação e o seu transporte, qual é a sua manutenção/eficiência e o seu custo. O evento foi um sucesso de público, com muitas pessoas interessadas porque o saneamento nas comunidades isoladas aqui em São Paulo não foi objeto de muita atenção. Em outros estados já está sendo implantado e dando bons resultados. O município de São Paulo deve aderir a essa tecnologia para resolver a questão da saúde pública dessa população que é um povo esquecido”, disse.

Para Roseane Garcia Lopes de Souza, coordenadora das Câmaras Técnicas de Resíduos Sólidos e Saúde Pública da ABES-SP, que prestigiou o evento, o encontro é importante porque precisamos solucionar os problemas daqueles que o sistema público não atende. “Não só a área rural, mas a área periurbana tem uma carência do saneamento com relação ao atendimento do sistema de abastecimento público. O evento apresenta soluções para principalmente as prefeituras estarem discutindo e aplicando as tecnologias.”

“Nesse evento valorizamos as unidades que são pré-fabricadas e precisamos saber o que existe no mercado brasileiro. Tivemos uma amostra fantástica e acredito que iremos organizar outros encontros, pois esse superou as expectativas. Todos estão elogiando, ouvimos experiências e vimos apresentações de produtos variados desde um banheiro só até uma solução mais sofisticada. As soluções foram discutidas para tentarmos melhorar daqui pra frente”, frisou Ana Lúcia Brasil, coordenadora da Câmara Técnica de Saneamento e Saúde em Comunidades Isoladas da ABES-SP.

Sobre as Câmaras da ABES-SP

Além da CT Saneamento e Saúde em Comunidades Isoladas, a ABES-SP possui outras cinco Câmaras Técnicas que atuam como órgãos consultivos da Diretoria. São elas: Recursos Hídricos, Resíduos Sólidos, Meio Ambiente e Mudanças Climáticas, Educação Ambiental e Saúde Pública.

As CTs funcionam como eixo catalisador de ideias e buscam promover a sinergia entre os associados e não-associados fomentando o debate com foco e direcionamento nos temas relevantes para o setor de Saneamento, Meio Ambiente e Sociedade.

A atuação das Câmaras engloba o estudo de políticas, análise das legislações, normas e procedimentos pertinentes e difusão de conhecimento, visando a proposição de sugestões, pareceres e recomendações no intuito de balizar o posicionamento da ABES-SP frente aos temas polêmicos ou àqueles que necessitam de esclarecimentos à sociedade.

Outra característica das CTs é a promoção de atividades tais como, eventos, cursos, palestras, oficinas, dentre outras, cuja importância está relacionada com os objetivos definidos por cada Câmara Técnica.
