Congresso ABES Fenasan 2017: encontro discutirá saneamento nas grandes metrópoles e o cenário em favelas e outras áreas de ocupação irregular

Encontro acontecerá no SP Expo de 2 a 6 de outubro, debatendo os temas mais relevantes do saneamento ambiental. Esta será uma oportunidade única de conhecer inovações tecnológicas, debater políticas públicas, intercambiar informações e ampliar a rede de contatos profissionais. As inscrições estão abertas.

O Congresso ABES-Fenasan 2017 terá painéis abordando dois grandes temas do saneamento nas cidades brasileiras: no dia 4 de outubro, às 10h, o encontro promoverá a discussão “Saneamento em favelas e outras áreas de ocupação irregular”. No dia 5, também às 10h, especialistas estarão reunidos para falar sobre “Saneamento nas metrópoles”. O Congresso será realizado de 2 a 6 de outubro no São Paulo Expo (programação técnica dias 3, 4 e 5 de outubro; solenidade de abertura, no dia 2, e visitas técnicas em 6/10) pela ABES- Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental e pela AESabesp – Associação dos Engenheiros da Sabesp.

O painel “Saneamento em favelas e outras áreas de ocupação irregular”  discutirá o enorme déficit de serviços em favelas e outras áreas de ocupação irregular e as alternativas para supri-lo, apresentando experiências relevantes existentes no país.

Serão discutidas experiências de urbanização de favelas, com a consequente possibilidade de implantação de sistemas regulares de abastecimento de água, esgotamento sanitário, coleta de resíduos e drenagem pluvial.

O painel apresentará experiências de prestação de serviços em áreas não urbanizadas, particularmente, de regularização de sistemas de abastecimento de água, no Brasil e em outros países. Também serão abordadas soluções para coleta de esgotos e de resíduos sólidos nessas áreas.

Metrópoles

Neste painel serão discutidas as peculiaridades dos serviços de saneamento nas regiões metropolitanas, em condições de conurbação e de estreita integração e dependência entre os municípios constituintes. Os painelistas abordarão aspectos institucionais da aplicação da definição de titularidade compartilhada entre estados e municípios, como a necessidade de legislação que detalhe e torne aplicável essa definição.

Serão também discutidas as características técnicas peculiares das áreas metropolitanas, em aspectos como a integração dos sistemas e a disponibilidade e proteção dos mananciais.
